Do you think you could consider making a medical video using Russian phrases or questions I work at a hospital and occasionally have Russian patients and I think it would be nice to know how to ask people where they may be uncomfortable or have pain and what certain organ names are etc

Sometimes, there are exceptions to make pronunciation easier or for no reason at all

it's not an exception. It's because this vowel is unstressed therefore it's reduced.
