You can listen to these videos while ironing, cooking, cleaning, resting on the couch, walking outside, sitting in the bus etc., you just need to listen, it doesn't take much effort to study like this, and it's nonetheless effective. So great!

@@RussianLevel1 Hi, thanks for the free videos! To improve them , I would recommend you write the phonetic English using the equivalent English sounding letters, meaning, when a Russian word as an O that is pronounced like an A, like in собака, then I would write that O as an A in the phonetic English, not has an O because in English O is pronounced O. So собака should be phonetically written sAbaka, and not sobaka. Another example could be хорошо, written in phonetic English as hArAshO, and not horosho. This would make it much easier for English speakers to read that phonetic English in your videos, and get the correct Russian pronunciation. I hope I'm clear in my explanation, not easy to explain! Thanks again for your videos.

Great video. I purchased the pdf. I highly recommend you get rid of the transliteration and replace it with a pronunciation guide. I used a pdf editor to change almost every entry (of the 150) so that I had a pronunciation guide instead of the transliteration. For example, I changed "Spasibo" to "Spasiba". I changed "Net" to "Nyet". Etc. Much much much better this way. After all, who is the transliteration for? People who can read the cyrillic don't need it, and people who can't read the cyrillic want foremost a pronunciation guide.

What is the difference between "число" и "номер"?
@RussianLevel16 ай бұрын
"Число" and "номер" are both Russian words that can be translated to "number" in English, but they are used in different contexts. "Число": This word primarily refers to a numerical quantity or value. It can be used to denote any kind of numerical value, such as a quantity, an amount, or a figure. For example: "У меня есть пять яблок" (I have five apples) "Сколько будет два плюс два?" (What is two plus two?) "Номер": This word typically refers to an identifier or a serial number. It is often used to identify something within a sequence or to label items. For example: "Номер телефона" (phone number) "Номер дома" (house number) "Номер билета" (ticket number) In summary, "число" is more general and refers to numerical values, while "номер" specifically refers to identifiers or serial numbers.
