Russia didn't start with a sword! Eduard Asadov Russia did not begin with a sword, It began with a scythe and a plow. Not because the blood isn't hot, But because the Russian shoulder Never in my life had malice touched me... And arrows ringing battles They only interrupted her usual work. No wonder the horse of the mighty Ilya Saddled was the master of the arable land. In the hands, cheerful only from work, Good-naturedly, sometimes not immediately Retribution surged. That yes. But there was never any bloodlust. And if the hordes won the upper hand, Sorry, Russia, the troubles of the sons. If not for the feuds of the princes, Then how the hordes would have been slapped in the face! But only meanness rejoiced in vain. Jokes with the hero are short-lived: Yes, you can deceive the hero, But to win - that's just the pipes! After all, it would be just as funny, Like, say, fighting the sun and the moon. Tom's bail - Lake Peipsi, Nepryadva River and Borodino. And if the darkness of the Teutons il Batu Found the end in my homeland, The current proud Russia A hundred times more beautiful and stronger! And in the battle with the fiercest war She had overcome hell, too. Tom is guaranteed-hero cities In the lights of fireworks on a festive night! And that's how strong my country is forever, That I didn't humiliate anyone anywhere. After all, kindness is stronger than war, How unselfishness is more effective than a sting. The dawn rises, bright and hot. And it will be so forever unbreakable. Russia did not begin with a sword, And that's why she's invincible!

If it were not for Russian sacrifice and toughness in winter warfare, the Nazi might have conquered the world. The entire world should recognize what they accomplished. Although Russia and Britain might have both fallen without the industrial power of the USA supplying weapons to our allies. Yet nothing compares to the sacrifice of 27 million men. It’s extraordinary that they continued fighting and never surrendered like France.
