Hallooooo I sang and composed the song „ catching up on you“ (melody and lyrics ) while I was in Los Angeles. Back then it was only a Demo for my new album. Suddenly Britney Spears heard the song and wanted it for herself. I agreed to it. After all she then changed the concept for her album and the song didn’t fit any more to that style of music. Then shortly after that Namie Amuro wanted to record my song and as a Japanese singer she changed the lyrics, the song she covered was then named “ shine more”. For the episode of Veronica Mars they wanted to use my version of the song but I never brought it out as a single. Maybe I will post it here one of these days 😊. Thank you for writing to me.
