I found this article about the Origen of the name Mamushka : Juan Carlos Carzalo took the idea and the name, and called it, in honor of his beloved sister: timbale de dulce de leche. Biting off layers and layers of the timpani was the best. It was the first milestone of his brand-new chocolate shop, inaugurated with great fanfare on June 1, 1989. He named it Mamuschka, in honor of the Russian dolls, which are actually called Matrioshkas. And Juan Carlos made red the color of his chocolate shop. Passion red, red of showing off. "Red is a way of saying I am present," Juan Carlos commented to those who asked.

From Bariloche 50 km north you may found a small city called "Villa la Angostura" were you will see the shortest river in the world!! 250km NorthEast you have San Martin de los Andes, which have the best chocolate and the principal sky center in Patagonia "Chapelco".

Дорогой Макс, Я вспомнил, что читал об этом аргентинском магазине матрешек в статье, которая на самом деле была частью теста на понимание прочитанного на выпускных экзаменах в венгерскиx средниx школax в 2020 году. Она довольно длинная, но я все равно публикую ее здесь.Ссылка на источник статьи больше не доступна. АРГЕНТИНСКАЯ МАТРЁШКА В небольшой аргентинский городок Барилоче я прибыла ранним дождливым утром. Дождь не заканчивался. Гуляя по безлюдному мокрому городу, я что-то покупала, чему-то радовалась. Город Барилоче славится своим шоколадом. В его фирменных магазинах сладостей используют бумажные пакеты с изображением наших матрёшек, при этом надпись на них гласит «Mamuschka»! Именно так и гласит, с ударением на букву «у». Да и вообще, в супермаркетах Аргентины не выдают целлофановые пакеты, только бумажные или тканевые сумочки по доллару. Мир отказывается от пластика. Кроме шоколада магазины продают расписных деревянных матрёшек. Откуда они - загадка. Мне и в голову не приходило, что через полтора месяца совершенно случайно, в совершенно другом месте, я познакомлюсь с мастером, который расписывает тех матрёшек для сети фирменных шоколадных магазинов под названием «Mamuschka». Гуляя по улице «Флорида» в Буэнос-Айресе, я вдруг замерла от неожиданности. Прямо вдоль стеклянных витрин по тротуару стояли ровными расписными рядами матрёшки. Наши матрёшки! Разных размеров, форм и рисунка. А продавец уже спешил ко мне. Сибиряк Андрей улыбался, узнав во мне русскую. Живёт в Аргентине 16 лет. Приехал сюда с семьёй в 90-ые годы. Не зная, чем заняться, кидались из одной крайности в другую, теряли деньги, силы и время. Однажды супруга натолкнулась в интернете на технологию изготовления матрёшек. И дело потихоньку двинулось. Андрей вытачивал деревянные болванки на станке, а его жена занималась росписью. Начали их продавать на улице «Флорида», потом выставлять в сувенирных магазинах, затем свой магазинчик появился, да и другие города стали оставлять заказы. И те матрёшки в фирменных шоколадных магазинах города Барилоче под названием «Мамушка» - это тоже его. Мы посмеялись над словом «мамушка», о котором Андрей не раз говорил владельцу сети шоколадных магазинов, но тот менять ничего не стал, чтобы покупателя, привыкшего к «Мамушке», не путать. Такую ошибку исправлять не выгодно. Уже вернувшись домой, снова знакомлюсь с интересным человеком, потомком белых эмигрантов в Аргентине. К моему удивлению, он оказался близким другом владельца сети магазинов «Мамушка». Его рассказ стал приятным дополнением к тому, что я уже знала: «Мамушка» - это марка известного аргентинского шоколада. Рецептура и все секреты его изготовления хозяин получил (купил) лет двадцать пять назад у швейцарских мастеров. В названии искажённое польское слово «мамочка». Символ русская матрёшка - это для привлечения покупателей. Ведь когда хозяин «Мамушки» начинал своё дело, в производстве шоколада была очень сильна конкуренция. Ему надо было найти выигрышный ход. Совершенно случайно его хорошая знакомая, которая недавно приехала из СССР, привезла ему в подарок маленькую матрёшку. Он сделал ставку на эту русскую деревянную куклу, утвердив её символом своего шоколада. И выиграл!!! Сейчас его шоколад является лучшим в Аргентине и Южной Америке. Эту шоколадную марку знают во многих странах мира. Вот как порою жизнь заворачивает!

Привет, к счастью, могу и это не опасно=) Ты абсолютно прав, это очень противоречивая личность. Люди выбрали перемены и перемены глобальные, мне это нравится, честно говоря. Однако я бы воздержался от каких-либо слов и оценок, так как предпочитаю судить по делам, а не по словам. Как пелось в старой песне: "Здесь каждый в душе Сид Вишес, а на деле Иосиф Кобзон!"😁 Пока мало что понятно, посмотрим:)

Мне очень интересно наблюдать за его действиями... и для меня это прекраснее, чем смотреть фильм Netflix... хотя я не тот человек, который очень любит политику, но, как ты сказал, что он человек, который хочет перемен, и мы этого хотим... так что давайте посмотрим на его действия... Насколько я понимаю, он хочет разорвать или сократить отношения с Россией и Китаем... Повлияет ли это на ваше пребывание в Аргентине или нет?

It's simple: Siberia is colony of Russia and Patagonia is colony of Argentina. Both countries are stateless.

The main similitude in my mind between Siberia and Patagonia has always been that they are both vastly flat unpopulated regions. I'm a 60 year old Argentinian, and in our mind "Patagonia" is mostly a huge flat tundra-like territory (one third of India in size) like Siberia with penguins and whales on its frozen shores, and like Siberia in the Northen Seas is close to the North Pole, Patagonia in the South Atlantic is close to Antartica and the South Pole The flora of the Patagonian steppe is also technically called "tundra" es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tundra_magall%C3%A1nica , I guess this is the familiarity! To explain more about the vast empty space that is Patagonia in our mind, when I was a boy, Bariloche during the second half of the 20th century, although as you say it was the largest city in Patagonia, it had only some 10.000 or 20.000 inhabitants (during the first half of the 20th century, it had even much less). Only today to my surprise I read it has surpassed 100,000 inhabitants! But also In our Argentinian minds, during the 20th century we hardly ever included Bariloche into "Patagonia" (which brings to Argentinian mind the deserted frozen steppes with penguins and tundra I speak about) but instead we called that geographical region simply "the mountains" (="las montañas" in Spanish) as indeed the Andes range sits only in the edge of the vast Patagonian territory (like the Urals form kind of barrier before Siberia? Excuse if I am wrong!) The reason why we called Bariloche "the mountain" is that every summer holiday, Argentinians (that is inhabitants from Buenos Aires, where historically the vast majority of the Argentinian population has always lived) had to decide between the three main traditional places to spend vacationing time (as opposed to say a one day visit, like Iguazu): -"the sea" -"the hills" -"the mountains" ("el mar", "las sierras" y "las montañas" in Spanish) "The sea" was Mar del Plata and all the other Buenos Aires Province beach resorts, like Necochea, Villa Gesell, Miramar, Pinamar, etc etc etc "The hills" was Cordoba - not the city, which was never a tourist destination for Argentinians - but the many resort towns in the "sierras" like Carlos Paz, La Cumbre, Mina Clavero, Azcochinga, VIlla General Belgrano etc etc But "The mountains" was basically only Bariloche (as the only developed city) only for the brave, as it was the most difficult to travel to - during the 20th century there was not so much air travel, and there was only one road from Buenos Aires that took like 2 whole days to reach driving. Bariloche was preferred for winter, for skying and trekking. And this is why for Argentinians, when we think of Bariloche we rather think of "la montaña" than Patagonia (which brings the other deserted mental image I mentioned) Only when international tourism started in Argentina with globalization in the 90s, it was foreigners who (correctly) called Bariloche and the Andes range "Patagonia" To show how unpopulated was always Patagonia, there is no "Patagonian accent" of Spanish (whereas of course we have the "Porteño accent "of Buenos Aires and the Pampas, the "Cordobés accent" and several more in the NorthWest and NorthEast of the country) And there are almost no stories set in Patagonia - although, as you say, Patagonia has always been in Argentinian minds this distant, vast, deserted and misterious land of tundra, bordering the Antartic... During the last decades there was another big wave of inmigration in Argentina, but this time from borthering countries. In the case of Patagonia, from Chile, a "silent migration" which has increased the population of Patagonia to triple or more its previous size In the 60s and 70s El Bolson became a mecca for Argentinian hippie culture (together with Villa Gesell) until today (It's still today a tiny town) San Martin de los Andes has grown also a little, but mostly only because of foreign tourism As for "el mar, las sierras o la montaña", you already know the attractivness of "the beach" and of "the mountain". In the case of Cordoba (as I say, not the city) its "sierras" were attractive to "porteños" (used to the flat Pampas, cement, fog, rain and humidity (that is, before the present global warming brought these record summer temperatures to Buenos AIres!) because of its picturesque hills and its sunny Mediterranean climate. While tuberculosis existed, for example, tipically patients were sent from humid Buenos Aires to recover their health in the sun and fresh air of the many "sanatoriums" built in the "sierras") The landscape and climate is the same than in Cordoba and the Mediterranean south of Spain - that's why Spaniards gave it that name But back to our subject - all this is why I say that, for Argentinians of the 20th century, the vast unpopulated flat tundra-like territories that comprises most of Patagonia, - are even more similar to Siberia, than Barioche I am glad a Russian has noticed the similitudes too! The theory that native South Americans came from Siberia from the Bering straight, is the one studied in Argentinian history books (at least during the 20th century, I don't know today). Some are believed to have come also sailing the Pacific from Polynesia (landing in Peru). But the main thing is that - as in the case of Siberia - their numbers were always comparatively very small I love sharing these observations about my beloved Argentina with a Russian - welcome to my country!
