There was no " Yugoslavia civil war " , Yugoslavia was a "union" of 7 countries, all existing for centuries prior to unification after ww2. After the death of the unificator J.B.Tito, a lot of affairs, incompetent leadership, corruption, and a step back to nationality came up, with time , members resigning one by one. The first two resignation attempts were halted by Serbia, holding the grip over the unified Yugo army at the time, but when other members seeking to exit the union, such as Croatia and Bosnia denied access to Serbian forces, Serbia started with delusion of its citizens spreading false news about the return of nazi lead Croatia, and calling its population to arms, with weapons being distributed in secrecy. With the support of the military, a lot of which became divided and laid down the arms not to fight with their recent brothers worth mentioning, a nearly 5 year old massacre took place. You should google for " civil war " , as one country attacking 3 others, does not fit the description.
