@@Mark_106 If I was the manager, I'd put Millie Bright on Popp and tell her to track Popp down for the entire game. The wingbacks will deal with their wingers. Their wingers will be putting in crosses that would either be blocked or cleared by Bright. Midfield, Stanway take on Buhl or Jule Brand with Keira Walsh taking care of the rest of the midfield. The attack will also spread out the work instead of relying on one player.

@@ashyyyk8098 I've been criticizing Manchester United for not providing Casey Stoney with the investment the team needed and so "forcing" her to quit and then bringing Marc Skinner who was the worse manager I've seen in the NWSL, with him as manager Orlando Pride was constantly the worse team always underperforming in what is probably the most balanced and competitive league in the world, of course he was not the only reason, but he did his part, meanwhile Casey Stoney was tasked with building a new team and while new teams had in the 10 ytears of history of the NWSL strugled in their first season, her team is at the top of the table and one of the 3 best performing teams halfway in this season. But the decision to keep Russo, Toone, do the best to convince Batlle ,Groenen, etc to stay depends on the club more than on Skinner and I want to believe those ppl may be smart enough to notice that having a great team with great players and aiming to compete on the UWCL may make the club earn more money than selling those players. Just the superstar status that Russo is getting may provide the club with a lot of money with the people who just had discovered women's football and may want to watch Russo play or all the merchandishing they could sell around her.

Last time I saw Popp was when the world Cup was held in Canada (2015) and England had a penalty against the Germans, when Popp was trying to put Fara Williams off when taking a penalty. It was the best penalty shot I've seen! as near to the post as one could get!
