As soon as the team stopped their indie experiments and went full-force on Rust, the game became leagues ahead of all other survival games. Big kudos to everyone on the team, working on this masterpiece.

problem is. Its going farther and farther from a survival game. its becoming a more competitive PVP game, i'd like to see them make the game harder in general and especially for clans. as well as make it more realistic in terms of guns, natural threats, building etc. kind of like DAYZ which was the inspiration for rust in the first place

@@esxoteric Rust has unique and very realistic aspect to survival: if you want to survive, you have to be a part of a group, it's the real-life evolutionary way of surviving. Strays don't survive for too long, but a group can.

And please tell what "metas" facepunch have upended. AK has been the best gun in the game for ever. It's clear that the devs barely care about balancing. Only thing missing is that homing missiles out of a manpad move with speeds up to mach 2 and not with a speed that Usain Bolt can outrun. Great update with great features none the less!
