Rust - An AVERAGE SOLO Rust Experience (Solo Survival)

This is my last wipe for a bit. I have too much IRL stuff I have to handle and I am honestly waiting for the next few updates to roll out. Looking forward to these "mete changes".
The game right now is feeling a bit stale with the same issues always revolving around scrap grinding and gunplay. I wrote a bit down below on my honest thoughts on the game. Feel free to read and post your opinions down below, or not.
This is what I feel is needed to make the game more balanced in terms of progression and PVP:
First Outpost: Recyclers need to be completely removed from safe zones. It's so easy for clans and large groups to just fly a minicopter from the safety of there compound to the safety of a safezone, Recycle the ridiculous abundance of components and then safely fly back home with minimal risk. Most Resource shops including the smokes and frags for scrap also needs to be removed, Farming one stone node and then trading it for a base is too easy. Low Grade, cloth and Gunpower is easily obtained through the means of spending scrap. Being able to buy a Blue Keycard is ridiculous, you can literally skip half of the progression system by just spending 100 scrap. The Drone system needs a nerf. Clans sell T2 and T3 BPs for Dirt Cheap because they have an endless amount, giving players an easy way to acquire an easy snowball with no risk, all for just a 20 scrap fee. I personally feel the drone shop fee should be increased to 75 scrap. Also just get rid of the stupid road signs in outpost, please. Overall: Outpost is suppose to be a "safe zone" not an "Easy Zone", A temporary hold out from the PVP or a pitstop on the way to base, not a bypass of half of the game. Half of the server on every single server in the game sits in outpost taking up half of the population slots doing nothing.
Tech Tree should also be removed or completely revamped to not include game changing items such as T2+ Guns, Explosives, garage/armored doors, etc. The fact that you can just build right next to a T0 monument as a giant clan and tech tree all the way up to rockets just by controlling mining outpost or gas station is just horrendously unbalanced. Putting a TAX on Tech tree would only hinder smaller groups and solos, not everyone. I personally think you should just retire tech tree and introduce something new like a research system that is located at certain monuments. For example, A military base that has a tech tree in one of the main rooms that allows you to research a specific item you request for the expense of recourses, components and time. My point that I'm trying to assess is, the majority of groups, even solos, always stay within the comfort of there square. Servers die after 6 hours of wipe because everyone has what they need in there base after 6 hours of playing. If they want to progress in the game, they have to visit specific regions of the map, take risks, or get involved in warfare. Not farm a couple of barrels and then bam, AK BP. You can clearly see it in this video, how much more exciting it was to make that play for the p2 and bring is home, playing high risk for high reward, not like the clan next door, Roof camping with AK on day one of controlling water treatment as an 8 man.
There's also a couple of issues that would make the game more exciting to play if they were implemented and I know the community is split right now on the state of the game, but i think the majority of agree on these: First, Animals should start to wander away from monuments or named areas. Seeds, Grubs and worms should only be obtained through the radial menu. Cargo, Oil Rigs, Bradley, Chinook Crates and Heli should only initial spawn 6 hours after wipe. Animals should not spawn during night. The placement of twig from the building plan should be more precise and accurate. Add weapon sway depending on your elevation. The hitbox for buildings needs to be looked at. There's so much more that I could come up with but I'm running out of space.
I know there are many counter claims to my opinions, and Id love to hear what everyone thinks about the state of the game. For now, we'll just have to wait and see what happens. I'm sure facepunch will make the right call.

I appreciate the editing, it's clear you put effort into it! You're not a bad player by any means either. Only tip would be to up the pacing a bit, but maybe it's just your style I also agree with 99% of what you say in the description, including the 3rd paragraph. If only I could be as excited to get a SAR nowadays as I was 3-4 years ago. I watch a lot of small KZbinrs and your vids stand out, take my sub!

Personally think the tech tree tax was a good thing, and the recycler changes. But it's got a long way to go. I still enjoy the game a lot though, endgame is quite easy to reach once you get *any* gun. And then they ruined it all with the travelling vendor 🤣

@@Apalis Tech tree tax is more annoying than anything and really only hurts smaller groups and solos. Down with the tech tree! My thoughts are that the travelling vendor might replace the vending machines at outpost eventually, so if that's the case, I think it might be a good change. Haven't really looked into it though

Btw ur roof broke cuz stability, you probably added some door frames inside ur base after you had already place the roof and that for some weird game physics changes the stability of the roofs. Try adding more door frames around where u have to replace those roofs to see if the stability changes.

I think you are a really good player and i like your vids, but man stop crying about everything. I dont know if its ur voice or ur style of speak or what but i watch a lot of rust youtubers and i feel like you are the only one who is crying on little thighs. Why cant i find one more cloth, whyyy. Why is there so many people, dude whyy.. you play solo, get used to it and on ur hours u shud have. I mean i have 1k hours and i suck at this game, i lose 90% of fights but its OK to me, im just bad and i try the best i can. Like i said, you are a really good player. I just think you would win more if u take more positive attitude because you are all the time upset about little things and u dont seem to enjoy the wins. Change ur mindset and u will be 10x better.
