The fact that they are still clinging to old gen is killing them. If nothing else I would like to see a new gen only in 2025. The xbox one is 10 years old at this point, but their excuse is that they started there. If all game companies stayed with the gen of console that they started on, we would all still be on the 360 for christs sake. It just all feels like a cheap excuse. I can't speak for the majority of the community, but I would like to see larger maps with more people before helis or FOV changes. I'll be playing on a full pop server, and MAYBE I'll see 3 people in 30 minutes. Not to mention the graphics, but they would be passable if I could find another person to shoot at. the future of rust should be following: - keyboard and mouse servers should be added to fix xim problem (including controller only servers) - anti cheat that solves zen players. - updates bi weekly - helicopters - facepunch and d11 should work together to make both games parallel to eachoter - optimization for new gen consoles and then either make it like fortnite where low quality is standard for old gen and new gen gets graphic sliders and actual newgen quality cause these consoles litt have the power of gaming pcs why waste that potential? - 120 fov - sharper gunmodels and armor - a microsoft and ps store economy like dlc packs that steam has since its so possible to buy dlc packs on console - water textures need to change. if gta and other games can add waves on sea and on the beach instead of flat water rust should too - there should be a effort to eventually add crossplay maybe this will ruin it but atleast make 2 categories like pc crossplay and console only and the same for pc - higher pop to fix queue issues - add aim practise maps on the actuall game instead of test branch only - the graphics are okay for console its mainly the resolution. like if you agree

@ It’s important to remember as well that we paid 60 - 80 pounds on release of this game as an investment that the game would improve with future updates. I did not expect 4 years ago that we would be where we are now. I don’t know anything about how hard it is to implement these updates, but what I am sure of is that communicating monthly updates and then following with holiday events, drones and two qol updates is just ‘filler’ updates and tbh taking the piss out of the fans.

I'm sick and tired of being in a 30 person que. I also got kicked while I was being raided and I had to wait a 15 person que. Took an hour to get back in I couldn't even defend my base. Also rn I'm in a 21 person que D11 for the love of god please make it 200 pop. at least half the pop isn't even going to playthrough anyways they're just snowballing they always leave within a day or two the reason why the pop goes down is because half the pop is snowballers and the other half are committed also allowing extra people in will help the economy of the server be balanced. The amount of times I get offlined because most people willl wait for the server to calm down. This will add more competition and make it harder for one clan to dominate the server. Clans offline everyone killing the population. I'm on a maxed server sitting on smoil I waited an hour for someone to try to take it an entire hour on a max pop server how am I suppose to be an oil rat if the only mfs taking it are clans with tug boats ive been pvp rocketed 3 times today on rig wtf are we doing I had a military backpack full of guns because of the clans having infinite respawns in their tugs so they rocketed me and spammed me with party invites. D11 please rig is my home I wiped all of them 3 times and they rocketed me and won and had the audacity to talk shit afterwards wow...😂 Increase the population increase the spawn rate the game feels stale and stagnant. Also D11 please fix the mf graphics i can't see these people anymore I can't tell the difference between shadows and people anymore the pixels are moving the textures are jittery the game feels like pub G when it first came out

Randomly got this video on my recommended and after I read some comments I think Gunnar really hit all the points I have over 2k hours in RCE ALONE started playing I wanna say a month before rig came out and at the time I was old gen broke my new gen after a week playing the game may get clowned for this but I spent half of my hours on old gen simply because couldn’t get it fixed and it was the worst time of my life but I met friends that I still play this game with the major thing I think needs to happen for the game to survive is a ACTUAL QUALITY OF LIFE UPDATE better graphics fov and such even boot up RCE on my old gen and there’s no point that you should be able to play Rust on the system shadows are too dark crash so much because of frame rate issues so you basically can’t play monthly might get away with a weekly but you’d have to build in the middle of nowhere all in all RCE needs to be restricted to new gen only and updates that the community is asking for not this random crap.

They're biased as hell. We give them good feedback honesty. They can't take criticism. If i say hey your game is shit and you ban ne then clearly you agree that your gane is shit. When somebody says the thing youre selling is shit you're suppose to listen to them and make some changes not ignore and ban all of the people giving good opinions. We all know this game wont make it another year without optimizing for new gen it just won't. They've already gotten the cookie cutter bs out of the way that old gen can handle what's left?? Exactly... Big updates that old gen will not be able to handle. Meaning they either are going to milk as many small updates as they can to bring in as much profit as they can and then at the end of the year they will release a new gen version. Or they aren't planning on exceeding the limitations. Which if so they need to tell us because if they dont plan on optimizing it for my new gen then im uninstalling i have rust pc i see how dirty d11 is being and its disgusting. My guess is they're going to milk every customer as they're a business think of it like they get paid by the hour so you better bet they're going to milk that time. What's it been 4 years since we've been playing this game they've done like 6 months of work on it. They're literally copying and pasting and cant even do that right . I promise you they could have this game fully released with every update in a single year but thats not how business works unfortunately they'll keep at it with this slow poking untill they see their numbers decline.

Yes ofc stuff takes time however the slowing of updates to keep people coming back after 2-3 months is a reality that I’m starting to wake up to. But also allow them to be able to play on mini servers That would allow old gen players to join in and see what they're missing out on and encourage them to buy a new gen

Myself and other creators have been in contact with the community manager Pedro, content creators are a very important factor for a game being popular. I gain nothing from lying about that. Hope this changes your mind.
