Rust Electricity Tutorial - HBHF Sensor - Auto Opening Garage Door

Just a quick tutorial on how to configure the HBHF sensor to automatically open a garage door, this method can be used on single and double doors as well.

Hi, thank you for this video, when i put i second door next to the first and want to open them both with on sensor i put the second door opener in path through!? but it doesnt work, so i need for each door a sensor? thanks

what about an automatic closing door that closes when sensor detects? then re-opens when it doesnt

Well for that you'd run constant power to the door controller (meaning door is open) and then before the door controller, place a blocker. Run the sensor to the block pass through, and run the door controller to the blocker output. When it detects someone, it blocks pass through, which turns off the door controller, which closes the door.

I know this is a year late, and I'm sure you figured it out by now, but if not then you need one HBHF for each side of the door, on a separate branch from each other.

It gets much more complex. I spent about 3 hours devising a system that can do this with hundreds of doors at an unlimited range from the power source. I might start making videos on the circuitry since it seems nobody else has been crazy enough to try it.

I did with 8 doors. But it's more complex.

Just do 2 system like this with AND switch and add OR switch.. which means 2 sensors, 1 sensor on both sides of doors and connect them to their own AND switch.. then connect those to an OR switch. Connect OR switch to the door controlers and thats it. I used eletrical branches instead of splitters. idk i just hate splitters, only use them for a raid base when u need to be faster :)
