Rust Elevator Basics: For Curious Builders (And Roleplayers!)

XOR gates no longer consume 0 power. There are 2 changes necessary to get this working, but they are easy! 1. swap out every XOR for a Root Combiner. 2. add 1 splitter between each button and Root Combiner The reason for these changes. 1. Root combiners do not consume power, so they are a perfect alternate to the XOR gate. 2. Buttons CANNOT output directly into root combiners, but splitters can. By connecting the button to a splitter, then a root combiner, this allows the circuit to work again! Buttons give a quick pulse of TWO power, meaning the splitter takes 1 and the root combiners will pass the other power into the elevator call input!

@@antonio20123 Thank you, but I'm not so sure myself. I helped run a rust server for a few months and dealt with everything that comes along with that, but I don't have a coding background.

@@x-tremespeed me neither ^.^, but for really basic plugins A.I. an help, I've done let's see.... or made A.I. do for me; a plugin to: spawn ak spawn a worse that u can ride say a msg in the global chat everytime you jump make all ur guns reload to 9999 ammo I've tried some more but those didn't work so far, for example for electricity. :D could be worth exploring or worth learning, surely with the help of A.I. we're all many steps closer :D

(I had a friend help me get guidance to make my own server so that for educational purposes I can learn new things about rust, like plugins, I think I'm creative and that rust lacks an inmense amount of creativity)

It still works! The only outdated parts are that the elevator needs the full power amount now (can't cheese it with 2 power) and you can go up 12 storeys instead of 6! You can also use regular OR gates instead of XOR since the update last spring. I don't have any casino games made, but that would be an interesting project to tackle at a later date!

Elevator is so simple once you hook power to the tallest wich is annoying getting all the way up their to hook it to number six box at top I had to run spiral stairs as far as I could go wich is like the forth or fifth floor beside elevator I had to use a ladder climb wall and scotch inside it was not easy I can't fly

No running up and down spirals is not practice and you get dizzy I keep all my stuff way up top and u can't use a ladder to get up their so only way up is thru my spiral stair eell wich is empty no stais for you so u put ladders and I drop grenades ask my haters and I am new at game and my hater love my hole it lights up the night and pple know I have wealth and well come up well try lmao 🤣
