Facepunch are one of the view dev studios who have an actual vision for their game while also taking in player input. Just take how they added more and more transportation with cars, the above ground train system and now this. This will massively improve player experience, making it easier to roam, raid, buy from shops and more.

Facepunch coming at us with that Wendy's pricing... Not a fan right now since it starts so high at the beginning of wipe. Good idea to kick people out of safe zone camping, though. The bikes are a blast, though. You can get some serious air with the motorcycle, lol. Just really easy to die and they damage real easily...

The Dynamic Vending Price is really an interesting game design change in theory (possibly really positive), but we will have to see it in practice to know. It seems like it will add a lot more depth to the market/trading aspect of the game which I think is a huge positive. Rather than just plop down a vending machine and throw stuff in/collect scrap; it encourages you to possibly watch those prices and sell comps against the server market.

100% it's slowing the early game down (good) and making it more strategic. It's also pushing people out of safe zones, which will create a lot more pvp. These are good changes.

so... they doubled the price of everything... and if nobody buys a single item... it will take 6x20 hours for it to drop 100% back to the original price... or 5 days. wow my solo server is going to love this.

What's the point of handcuffs if you can escape so easily? Devs adding yet more content and items and making them useless.

takes 60 seconds, cant f1 kill, and can be interrupted

@@ThatGermanGuy 60 seconds is very small amount of time, you can cuff unwilling person only by downing them to their last hp and interruption causes damage. 60 seconds is not long enough to even annoy someone for entertainment. What's the realistically longest time we could keep in captivity someone who is trying to escape?

no it wont, not networking means the client (player) gets no information about this existing until they see it. this also means cheaters cant freecam into bases to see where the boxes etc are if it works properly

Imagine a group door camping you, cuffing you, and then raiding you while one just keeps you engaged. Well have to see how cuffs work in the field, but not being able to suicide seems scary in theory to me.

it's probably due to the 4th being a political holiday for ONE country. and the Lunar new year being celebrated by multiple countries and cultures and the New Year, nothing political (no political stuff, IE flags etc, allowed as per skin rules)
