Fun fact/s, Patrol helicopter only rocket/napalm's you if you hit the main/ rear rotor of the Patrol helicopter. If you do not hit the Patrol helicopter's rotor at all then it will not rocket you, but it you hit the rotor's even once then it will rocket you until it either gets taken or dies. The Patrol helicopter has 10,000 hp and when one of its rotors explode, it does 5000hp of damage, meaning if you destroy both rotors all the health of the heli will be depleted immediately. The damage inflicted on the Patrol helicopter is exactly as the same as the damage listed on the description of the weapon you are using. For example, the m249 has 65 damage listed on its description, therefor without taking out any of them rotors, you would have to hit the Patrol helicopter 154(10,000/65) times without it rocketing you at all. But if you do in fact hit the rotors on accident the fastest way possible to take it down would be to go for the rotors. First you should aim for the tail rotor. try to get at least a few hits on the tail before the Patrol helicopter goes in for a strafe run. When the Patrol helicopter comes over to rocket, run to the opposite side of the shooting floor and aim up ready for the Patrol helicopter to pass over. As the Patrol helicopter passes over the tail will be fully exposed and in this time you should be able to take down the back rotor. If your Heli base is on a hill, the Patrol helicopter will go so far down after the strafe run that you will also be able to destroy the main rotor within 3-5 seconds. If you are unable to destroy the main rotor on this attempt and only got the back rotor, then wait for the Patrol helicopter to circle around your base and wait for its burst of bullets to end. When the Patrol helicopter's burst ends, you peek and quickly shoot the main rotor before it turns or goes in for another strafe run. Also a good thing for taking down Patrol helicopter would be to try and place a turret. (sometimes there is a blocked building zone near where the Patrol helicopter crashes) so if this is not possible then use a car with a campervan instead to ensure you can spawn directly on top of the Patrol helicopter crash site if need be and also have a safe place to sit if you are under fire.

True enough. Think of this as lots of comfort added for those less comfortable with it. These days I take heli solo first time during a wipe usually from a 2x2x2, and the question is if I've had a chance to upgrade it all to metal or not, and if I have only a SAR or something better like an AK/HMLMG. If the 2x2x2 is mostly stone and I'm using a SAR, I give it a 50% chance of success. If I've metaled up and have my M2, the challenge is to drop heli in less than 150 rounds. Exactly one stack is my best.
