Hey! Yeah those turrets are really really strong. I've raided a bunch of bases with them in it, and they are almost impossible to deal with, you could also add in a frame over the top of the half wall for an even better seal

If you put the turret back by another triangle or better yet replace the triangle with a square its completely unsplashable even from normal rockets and when you armor the ramp boom you have one direction 15 rocket turret pod, the way you put the turret is way too close and can be splashed through with normal rockets.

On the roof above the floor with the peakdowns (made of hqm) it keeps saying that there is "not enough space" on the floors that go on top of the walls. Ive spent probably an hour trying different angles to place these floors. Any suggestions?

Wait a second. look at 13:08...... those aren't walls in the center loop...... Too many/ Too few Zigzags on the metal. I think they're a wall on the flat sides, and a half wall low wall on the corners........ MGE, is this right?

For those having issues with the HQM loot floor. All but two of the walls are 1 half wall, 1 low wall except for the two squares opposite of the hatches

Footprint and design is a 10/10. My only complaint is the 27k metal upkeep in one main TC. Would it be possible to multi-tc the shell foundations/walls and then connect the wide gaps to the multi tc, but still keep with the overall base design? I am very interested to try that because aside from having to stack 27k metal in main TC just to get one day I love the base

The video should be more easy to follow, i f*cked up my base because it was hard to follow and because of those short clips where there was suddenly too much construction out of nowhere. i mean the clips that was for meant to speed up the video. also the upkeep is very out of hand. this base is basically for u if u don't have work or anything else than rust.

It should also be noted - the corner squares that are built during the external TC buildout phase will decay until you build out the frames for the wide gaps starting at 17:40 in the video.

@@MyGamingExperience can you read my comment I posted its unclear on the middle metal walls before you place the roof, they look higher then the other walls connected to it and you don't clarify it at all and the floor in certain areas looks different also, on that floor where the triangle hatch frames are. just wish you woulda stayed detailed with it instead of just zooming out on a done floor and saying here do this and then a whole other floor also. I am now stuck on a server after grinding and spending multiple days into it with a roof I cant finish cuz it says not enough room.

The reason it's giving you the not enough room prompt is the floors need to be attached to the outer ring of metal floors and not the frames. When building check stability. If it is low (around 10%) destroy and make sure it's attached to the outer ring.

@@MyGamingExperience so at 13:12 the two square metal roofs that are to the left and right of the middle, the area that would be above the double metal doors leading out side, the metal walls that are right below those square roof pieces, those walls have a quarter wall on top of them? or do they have a half wall? and if so then does that mean you added a stone half wall to right above the ladder hatches? to keep those two wall pieces a half wall higher still? see this is where i am confused there was a lot of detail on this floor to be built and you kind of just zoomed out and said here you go build this haha. you know what I mean? not trying to me an ass its just I'm on official and now after days and lots of grinding cuz, and I'm also solo, I'm stuck with either having to make boom and blow up a bunch of my own metal walls and waste it or just have a base with this floor not sealed. and thank you for replying

Its a nice bace but the bunker does not work with the design. You can only build it if there is no bunker in it. I did get the new bunker working but then you can p place walls on the upper floors due to it.

You need to add a first person tour of the base and go over the features. cinematic tours suck. it doesn’t let the viewer get a feel for the base.

not a very big main loot area but nice base though I highly advise against cell gates as they bloke the turrets shots

i don't usually use the cell gates for that reason, but many people comment and say to add them in, i guess they have a decent amount of payoff but like you said, it is also a price to pay
