Underwater vaults have been my go to for years. As I solo, I just pick an out of the way spot. Throw a tc on the surface with 24hrs upkeep then destroy it. The upkeep goes into the base and it's safe for a whole day. Do it again the next day. Never had one of these raided because they are nearly impossible to find.

did kind of the same when we lived on an ice berg, as a 5-6 man we pissed off a few clans and we knew they would come knocking when we logged off, so i made armored doors into our bride with vending machines on multiple floors with all the important loot... they ended up raiding into every corner of our main for 90+ rockets and were not happy when we ran around fully kitted ready to raid and fuck with them some more. Insane how a 40+ man clan wont send an online vs 5-6 people
