people kill for fun and to take your stuff. thats the nature of Rust. trying to learn the game on official servers will be painful. very very painful. there's so much in rust that it can be a great game, but picking the right server is the first step. my advice would be to go to the Modded servers and type in PVE. find a server where PVP isn't allowed.. then you can build freely and learn the game without as much pain. you can still die to animals, scientists and other things but it will also give you something to fight as well. once you understand the mechanics of the game and the basics of monuments then you can go back to official server or pvp ones.

if u still dont know the reason why you could join is the queue it says in the bottom right corner thats why you couldnt join to turn of nudity you go to options scroll down to censor ship and then you will see it i would recommend playing on recentley wiped which you can see how long ago it was under the name of the server also play modded to learn abit more its much easier and try a lower population on the server get enough wood for tc and dont build a 2x2 at the start build a 2x1 with a double door so you can expand into a 2x2 upgrade the foundations to

Trying to play rust by yourself is very difficult. Especially when you find the game on your own and are not introduced to it or the mechanics. I recommend finding someone you know who is good to help you get started.

I really enjoy rust vids and clicked this bc you had low sub count. I like more grassroots content. As an editor in learning myself I think one thing that would improve your editing would be to be more consistent with your cropping and framing. It shrank down so small at times it was harder to view on my phone. I'm sure it's fine on PC. Nice vid tho.

In Rust, everything you do teaches you something for the next time, because people can and will abuse every single detail in this game. I guess you learned to always upgrade the foundations first this time. Next time you'll learn about soft side of walls when someone starts jackhammering into your base without issue. The reason all servers loaded forever was because of the queue, on wipe day official big servers are where most good players go to compete, and they will wait hours in queue just to play. Picking smaller servers is better for beginners. I never played the tutorial (I have 4k hours), but it seems kind of weird that the first thing it wants you to do is build a campfire? That's... rather useless at the start.
