idk man. that last part of the chorus, after listening to the song a couple of times, just goes fine with me. I liked it the first time and it's kinda grown on me. It might not be some people's preference, but it doesn't ruin the song or anything like that. Also check out Johnald who was on the hook. Boy is INSANE. His catalogue all hits and my bets are he's next up coming.

The first time I had a little 'What the hell" reaction aswell when I heard the monkey bit, but I like it now. I think half of that feeling comes from it being un-orthodox, its weird/jarring so first reaction is like throwing you off, but if you give it a chance, I found it flows. It's the transition between the notes, he has to stop because they are too far apart to slide to smoothly, if you cut some of the notes in between and maybe the transition flow better I think it would sound a little more natural
