I'd love to go exploring in those empty buildings. And aren't those old cottages lovely. It's nice to see that not all the history has been taken away from the village. Nice video Geoff. Look forward to seeing part 2 😃

Such an interesting village, it seems to go way back in English history. Nice to see so many flint walls remaining. I like the drone videos too.

Similar to Sunbury on Thames near me which is near to Hampton Court and Kingston. Some of my favourite walks are around this area.

I've been to Hampton Court, Kingston and all over that area. Long time ago now when cruising on the Thames. Lots of memories of those days.

Do you have any photos or information on the Old Children’s Home ‘St Christopher’s’ apparently it was knocked down and built on but I cannot find any photos of the huge building and site.

Hi Samantha. I haven't heard of it before to be honest, but I've just looked up some info. Apparently it was knocked down and they built housing on the land. I can't find any old photos of it unfortunately. I hate it when they knock down historic buildings and leave no trace of them at all.

The one thing I don’t like with the cottages is how the road goes so close by them. To get past them you have to either cross the road or walk on it, must be a nightmare for those living in them

Yes I agree with you, the narrow roads are a problem at times, especially when the pavement stops. These old cottages are usually Grade II listed so even if they're in the way, they can't remove them....which I'm glad about. I guess they didn't expect lorries and buses to be going down those roads at 40mph when they built the cottages. :)
