I am a Farrier apprentice here in Germany and I am currently trying to figure out how to forge weld and man did you make that look easy. My success does come a bit randomly right now, but I will get to the magic of it :D

Here in west Texas, I occasionally pull shoes off horses coming out of Mexico made out of rebar , it's usually a pretty damn good job too . Nice shoe 👍
