late reply, but for future players: each pinpoint on the reference sheet (a b c d) you have to find manually. Match the marker ( + ) on the telescope with the marker relative to each landmark on the paper (the + by the church, the + by the bridge, etc) and mark what your number markers are on the telescope. Then plug in each number to the B+C+D-A and you'll get what's supposed to be inputed into that number dial. Hope this helps!!
