I don't have much to say here because there are only a few parts to explain. I bought this ax head approximately 6 months ago on the FB marketplace. I got this ax head without a handle from the first time I got it. It looked quite rusty after a while. There were lots of holes in the body, because the holes were too deep and there was a lot so I decided not to scrape it off too much because scraping it would make the ax thinner and lighter in weight later.
For the axe handle, I made it from jackfruit wood, because jackfruit wood is a hardwood in Indonesia that is termite-proof and strong against water and hot weather (durable). I made the design of the ax shape itself based on my own design.
For the logo embedded on the ax handle, I tried to give it a slightly different touch from other ax handles, namely using a round laser marking which was embedded using casting resin and hardener. This is something new and hopefully this is a good start for me personally.

Tidak banyak yang saya mau sampaikan disini karena part nya hanya sedikit untuk di jelaskan. Saya Membeli kepala kapak ini kurang lebih 6 bulan lalu pada marketplace fb, Kepala kapak ini saya dapatkan tidak memiliki gagang dari pertama saya mendapatkan nya, ini terlihat cukup berkarat cukup lama terlihat banyak sekali lubang-lubang pada badan nya, karena lubang ini terlalu dalam dan banyak sehingga saya memutuskan untuk tidak mengikisnya berlebih karena pengikisan akan membuat kapak akan lebih tipis serta bobot yang ringan nanti nya.
Untuk gagang kapak saya membuat nya dari kayu nangka, karena kayu nangka termasuk kayu keras di daerah Indonesia yang anti rayap serta kuat terhadap air dan panas cuaca (awet). Desain bentuk kapak itu sendiri saya membuatnya berdasarkan desain saya sendiri.
Untuk logo yang ditanam pada gagang kapak, saya mencoba untuk memberikan sedikit sentuhan yang berbeda dari gagang kapak lainnya yaitu menggunakan laser marking berbentuk bulat yang ditanam menggunakan casting resin dan hardener. ini hal baru dan semoga ini menjadi awal yang baik bagi saya pribadi.
