Rusty dying the other day was a real emotional gut punch to me, as I have virtually every Poco album from '69 to '89. Now, seeing this interview, and seeing him as pleasant as I'd remembered him, it stings just that much more. Still glad to see it, though. Love to you Rusty, you'll be sorely missed.

I was a Poco super fan. There music filled a void. What great players and song writers. I still where Poco shirts. They made the Eagles who they are. Without them no Eagles.

The cover art for Poco's album Legend was created by the late Phil Hartman. He was a graphic art student in college.

Multitalented. I really miss Phil Hartman. RIP. Oh yeah ... LOVE Poco! 'Crazy Love' is such a beautiful song. As a lifelong musician it is absolutely one of my wife's favorites for me to play. It's pretty much tied with Neil Young's, 'Harvest Moon'. Both are very well received when we perform them live.

I remember meeting you oh, and your wife Mary and you are some of the kindest most loving people I've ever met! And the harmonies that night were absolutely perfect with Paul Cotton and that was when George came back before he had a stroke but you couldn't have been kinder! And every time I do a solo show I play it and whatever is happening wherever I am, everybody stops to sing... GOD BLESS YOU RUSTY 🙏🏼💕🛐💯💖

Just getting my Poco Lp's out again. Legend , a friend gave me that album 1979 or 80. with "Crazy Love". I love the blue and gray album. Some pretty music on there, even though some of it is haunting. I'm in my 60's now, and am still digging Poco as much if not more than back in the olden days, LOL. Interesting video Rusty.

Like so many other posts, these guys were/are great, and were before their time. Though the Eagles may have gotten more of the attention it's clearly because of what these guys started. Rusty may be gone, but what Poco created will not be lost in the history books of great music!

One more thing. I think everybody does have a CRAZY LOVE! I have one and EVERY SINGLE TIME I play that song I have to keep myself from crying because at this date it's been 27 years since I've seen her but she is was and will always be the love of my life...!!! 🛐🙏🏼💕💯💖 SOMETIMES IT MAKES ME WONDER WHAT YOU WERE THINKING? WAS IT A DICHOTOMY? AT THIS POINT IT DOESN'T REALLY MATTER DOES IT? Just another GREAT SONG! 🤔🙏🏼💖

Gosh, I had no idea. Rusty Young, Buddy Emmons, Buddy Cage, are the gold standard. I played Good Feeling to Know at 10 on the accordion. Deliverin’ - is there a better live country rock record than that? That was a SUPER group. The best pedal steel player ever.

Liked the info here from Rusty. X thank you Rusty. RIP.
They played this song on “Spiderhead”, a very weird sci-fi psychological thriller on a disarming eccentric villain’s playlist. I never heard that song, before. Wow! That was great! I could imagine Steve Gutenberg playing him in a biopic the ‘80s. Shame they didn’t. I bet he could get the voice down, too.

They were trailblazers in that genre but for reasons unknown they just didn't have the massive appeal of the Eagles. Maybe their songs weren't strong enough. But the Eagles moved from it's Country-Rock leanings and became a rock band. Gosh if their was a secret formula to make it happen more bands would copy each other.
