We are loving this trip of yours at Quartzsite. Glad we didn't make it, but I can say that I have seen some of it thru your camera lens. I don't like that many people around me either. Thanks Rusty!!!! Keep them coming.

thanks for the tour. I spent a winter out there about 1991. At that time the average age was about 70, so guess folks don't age in Quartzsite. At that time I had to pay the state $25.00 for permit that "allowed" me to collect sales tax and remit it to the state. I had to buy a $25.00 city of Quartzsite vendor permit. Then I rented space in one of the smaller flea markets on the main drag and parked my trailer and pick up in the spot also. About a week or two into the project, a man from the state revenue office came around and said if we had our vehicles parked in a vendor spot we had to buy AZ commercial licenses for those vehicles. That happened about 11 a.m. As the word spread you would have thought some one yelled fire as vendors pulled out of town. That evening there was a big meeting at city hall and after that we never heard any more about commercial vehicle permit. I have not gone back to Quarzsite since. Thank you for reminding me about the beauty of dust, traffic, dogs and dog gifts and all those fine old folks. I hope your enjoying your trip as much as I'm enjoying watching you take your trip.

Comment- Hi Rusty, How do you dispose of 'toilet' waste & accumulated garbage?- In Quartzsite? Have pay to dump? Where to dump? Enjoy your channel; have seen most. Appreciate it; I've learned a lot from you. Thank you

That big white building right across the street from McDs on main street is no longer there. ln Aug we had a big storm and it blew away. At the 20 min point you drive right past my house.

Thanks Rusty, we get to go ridin' and lookin' with ya without leaving the house. Now if you'd go for a stroll I could have some exercise too. The only problem with more sky in the frame is like at 20:15, when you've got a bunch of sun or bright clouds in the shot, the camera dims the brightness level so everything on the ground looks dark as nighttime. It's a dilemma...

Mr. Rusty, if you're expecting to get any change back from that 'nickel tour', you will be sorely disappointed! WOW! I mean WOW!!! You've built a fire under my pant-seat to, "Get thee to Quartzsite A.S.A.P.!" Thank you very much for the 'lQQk-see'! And you threw in quite a synopsis to boot, too! Best regards, O4T YeeeeeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Rusty, you can't beat a Prius for cheap easy travel. I own one and love it. Interesting (cheap as it gets) travel. Freezing rain today in Iowa 100% ice. Enjoy the sun and dust

This is MY backyard. The reason to come here is to be around EVERYONE into Boondocking during the winter! If you want no people, then just go south into the K.O.F.A. area and you can be miles away from Anyone!

To sell as a vendor any where in quartzsite you have to have a vendor permit from the city and they charge a big time fee. In other words they stick it to you big time. use to be free years ago. not any more.
