I literally just got into T.M.A. THIS. YEAR. and have been enjoying it so much. gotten all the way up to the season 5 hiatus. enjoying the ttrpg eps and other lovely bonus content just anticipating the ending. since seeing art, funny memes, and an absolutely BEAUTIFUL angsty fanart of the ending (which I didn't know was the actual ending scene then) was what made me finally go "Ugh alright fine, I guess it's time to get into a new fandom. let's go have a listen" and then just being absolutely in love. when I started I genuinely thought that TMA was it. that it was all there was, you were done with it and that was it. cause I remember seeing fans of it talking about how it was never gonna be anymore and re-listening over and over again to relight the flame of joy just a few years ago. and then here I find you are making more. extending the universe, I presume, post TMA ending and alongside TONS of extra fun stuff with the Kickstarter. I joined the fandom at a perfect time it seems. real excited to be able to both binge T.M.A. and have the excitement the OG fans had by waiting for new episodes to drop and seeing the plot thicken in real-time alongside everyone else. sad to have found the Kickstarter's existence 4 months after it ended. I would have loved to participate, if I had kicked my ass into gear sooner and listened to the podcast earlier I would have, but so cool to see you hit so many goals. can't WAIT for October. it's gonna be a real exciting month

A thing to note about Mother! Is that it is very surreal. And it's less terrifying and more horrifying? It feels like a violation, makes you uncomfortable, makes you think "What the actual fuck?", but it isn't exactly scary. And, it is very heavily symbolic.
