I've visited Bogota in 2019. stayed there in spanish school for 10 days. Made a bici tour to Alto de lettras and continued for Merelin and back again, about 700 km. I went also by bike to Chingaza Park. I liked it very much. I also went about 7 times with Rino Bike, a bike club in Bogota on tours. It was great! I loved it! saludos

If you like nature and all kind of diversity (including ethnically and musically) you should visit Colombia. It is the most biodiverse country in the world by squared kilometer. It was blessed by these five main stunning regions: the Atlantic coast, the Pacific coast, The Andes, the huge Orinoquía plains and the Amazon jungle.

Gracias.

Columbian cycling fanatics ... I want to meet one now :-) This is a very watchable little docu action movie and I really relate to the emphasis on water rights, sources, protections; in fact we all do since it's a human necessity for life. Somebody still needs to convince Logan to stop hating on gravel bikes, haha.

It's a pitty to say but it's not possible to do this route anymore. I tried it (Oct. 2022) but when I arrived at the national park Chingaza , I was not allowed to enter with a Bicycle (cause of safety reasons?). The only way to enter the park is by car. So unfortunately I could not continue the loop and had to get back to Bogota. Also th first part of the route is very very difficult with a gravelbike in rainy season (mostly walking and slipping away). It's good to have a mountainbike.

“Paramos are sacred, essential and important to the environment, should be let alone and not interfiere their ecosystem”.So Let’s create a bike route to bring everybody to ride through them, even better... lets advertise it with a video on youtube! (El que entendió entendió).
@JRF823 жыл бұрын
