Ruta del Cares, Hiking Alone.

The Cares Route, also known as ¨The Divine Throat¨, is a very popular trail in Spain, located in the Picos de Europa, specifically between Asturias and León. The route follows the Cares River gorge for about 12 kilometers between the towns of Poncebos in Asturias and Caín in León. It is a hike of moderate difficulty that offers impressive cliffs, waterfalls and mountain landscapes.
