Oh man this song is bringing tears to my eyes. It's the first time I've heard it and it already has this effect. Writing/music/voice to perfection.

This has truly got to be one of the profoundly saddest songs I have ever heard. Ian, I fell in love with you and your voice when I was 7 years old and my feelings have not changed one iota

I looked up and saw a hawk just like the one in this video fly over my car. He was maybe flying 6 feet above me. My friend Spotted Eagle was taken last year with Covid. He always explained my humming bird's, butterflies, eagle's I wish i knew another tribal person to tell me what it means. I pray for God to send you everlasting, faithful, enduring Love. Your songs and videos have put a smile in my heart. May the Lord Bless You and Keep You. You are not too old to throw another loop, and you have not cashed in your chips. Keep your hat on your head and your boots on the floor. God knows your heart, and he still opens doors.

Couldn't agree more. I first saw Ian and Sylvia 54 years ago at the Valley Forge Music Circus near Philadelphia. The friend who accompanied me said, "He really sang his ass off." Last saw Ian maybe eight years ago in Annapolis, MD. He never disapp0oints.

I like Ian before, but his new voice and music is even better than he has ever been. His words and music are our great treasures. Thank you for posting this and thank you, Ian, for being the kind of performer we all love. All the best.

Thanks so much for sharing all these parts of the documentary. I certainly enjoyed it and learned a number of facts. This sounds like a fine song--I need to pick up the album, _Songs from the Gravel Road_.

One of my earliest musical influences. Never noticed how he resembled John Lennon when he let his hair down, especially in the eyes, most noticeable in the 1st of this series.
