Professor Bryant’s knowledge and enthusiasm carries a powerful message of the scriptures which is infectious. The teaching of the scriptures is meant to be practised more so than simply debated. This man is a powerful teacher.

I moved to Canada in 2018 and being away from India I was not able to talk or discuss about spirituality and the related Indian philosophy. But then I came across the videos of Swami Sarvapriyananda who is the head of the Vedanta Society of New York and he during his talk refers to many other brilliant minds and sometimes have them at the Vedanta Society for talks and that is where I learned about Proff Dr. Edwin Bryant and I instantly became his fan. I coming from India do agree on this that the Dharma is dying in India and the greed has taken over. No one talks about liberation in the city, like they used to. But after listening to such profound intellectual peoples in the west, I feel like the fire of Dharma is still burning and it is growing stronger in the West. Maybe that's why Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa had sent Swami Vivekanada to the west, because he knew what was coming in the future. Thanks for keeping the fire burning Dr. Edwin Bryant.

Thank you Professor for not equivocating about the use and abuse of animals. If we continue to exploit and consume animals we will not create a sattvic mind or a good karma. ‘As long as there are slaughterhouses there will be battlefields.’ God bless and good karma to everyone! ❤️❤️

The message gets lost once you look at the flaws in the world right now with the intent to change the world. The eyes and mind cannot see what is suffering of the SELF. Prof is suffering, his voice is not from the place of peace. Once he is established in the self , the message he speaks of will resonate with millions without words or no words. Our essence is much bigger than whatever we see here in world going wrong. Compassion begins from our family and everyone we see everyday. Love and care about your children, parents, siblings, and spouse....deeply and dutifully and the truth will unfold even if you are a butcher, shudra, robber...enlightenment can still happen. There are so many examples of many many people in India and in the world who are enlightened without any understanding of the scriptures, knowledge of Gita....there is more than one way. There are 1000000000000000000.......doors to the consciousness that enlightens.

Just wonderful. Desire is endless, it never ends and doesn't ever allows satisfaction to happen coz that ll lead to its end which it doesn't want, which is tamasic, asuric n rakshasic in nature.. always in an unsatisfied state, like an addict is to its addictions, which leads to more n more lower level activities ending one up in lower karmic patterns. We must work on desires n consumption ll curtail down n many things ll fall in place.

I'd like to know where the proof is that karma yoga was lost apart from Krishna saying so (which can't be questioned conveniently) It doesn't seem convenient to anyone that in a time of war there's suddenly a lost yoga that compells one to fulfill their duty and fight to the death. The law of no harm (Ahimsa) gets put aside because the war is declared a just and moral war. I mean, I understand that Ahimsa is Patanjali's yoga and the forgotten Karma yoga, but it's quite a major difference in the two Yogas, to me me it's more of a difference than the dual and nondual systems of Advaita Vedanta and Samkhya.

U have to count the population of Muslims(25%) and Christians(10%or more) here n the Hindus who consume meat. A very small percentage of Hindus still eat Meat, maybe 20 to 30% out of 75% remaining Hindus here in Bharat. In some states in Bharar Hindus r some 2 to 8 to 11 to 34% percent. 8 states majority Hindus have been converted n they have given up their traditional Hindu practices n eating habits.

“ I am Brahman” says Krishna is no different than Jesus Christ saint “I am the way” or “ no one can come to the father but thru me” the dualists interpret this to mean lord Krishna is Brahman and all other views are lower just as Christianity does , they have missed the point entirely

You are rubbishing your ignorance by comparing totally non related philosophies here! Those Christianity is spread by destruction initially now spewing venom and luring by money! Where were real philosophical content in Christianity which claim that the world was created just 6000 years ago. All those details are pasted materials by those Semitic cult which nowhere related in any yardstick to Vedic philosophies!
