They reached a point at which their “style of music” was too different to each other so they made the call to split. Sad to see but in my opinion the split has been the right move 🌗🙏

Creative differences likely, their sound has evolved over the years and as a duo its all about compromise in certain areas, eventually you’ll get tired of doing that ... you have your creative ideas and influences that you want to explore that just doesn’t gel to well with your counter part ... but lucky for them they’ve been around long enough to branch off and still have the talent and recognition to make the transition smooth ... I doubt it’ll be the last time they ever work together they’ll just do what everyone else is doing, collaborate when they want and do their own thing when they don’t
