If you have any issues with the retinol, i highly recommend the Eau Thermale Avène Cicalfate cream! I was using Retin-A (a highly concentrated form of retinol) for some acnes issues and had such horrible issues with extreme dryness and redness. All the moisturizers I used to fix it made my skin burn, but this completely healed it. It's heavy but not so much that you feel like you're putting vaseline on your skin. It's so nourishing. Good luck!

I absolutely love all the Sally Hansen nail varnishes, they are so long lasting. The gel one (with the topcoat!) is amazing & I also find the complete manicure one lasts really well on me too. Emma x

Love your videos! La Roche-Posay Redermic R is a really nice retinol product too. It doesn't cause any peeling or irritation, but gently smooths and evens out the skin tone. I'm 64 yrs old and I still get spots, but when I use this product, my skin never breaks out. It's a good one! They also have a Redermic R for eyes which I haven't tried yet.

Fanny contra-indication testing is vital Ruth so thank you! I have the Sally Hansen topcoat and it is great. Not sure if it makes a massive difference though because as you point out the varnish is exceptionally long lasting anyway.

ohh, the flat-foundation texture does have this old-school idea after every product-and-some has some glow-factor in it these days. But actually for some days I like re-shaping/glowing the face too (Gucci new powder foundation is quite like that)

I love Batiste but the ones with the nice smells leave an awful grey cast in my hair, and their one for dark hair smells like old socks to me.
