He was an authoritarian who demanded obedience but could not inspire - at least not consistently - the players to perform. And clearly, that is why Ruud is a much better coach than ETH. The players both like and respect him. And more importantly, perform their best for him. That’s why leaders, like Robert Kennedy, was both liked and respected by his men, wherever he was.

As much as I am sad that he is leaving, on the other hand it is good for the club and Amorin because those mediocre players in the likes of Rashford, Fernandes and co, wanted Ruud to stay so they can continue to have players power in the team.
