Lack of goals can easily be attributed to the absence of a gifted outright striker in this squad, Rasmus Hojlund is a long way off being the one to lean on. Patrice Evra stated you need a "sniper" in the centre forward role to challenge in the EPL and it's obvious this squad does not have such a player yet. The summer window should see them seeking a proven "sniper" to remedy this problem.
