Console has a bug where sometimes homing breaks. Usually restarting the game fixes it. You can tell it happens because the crosshair doesn't become red

That happened to me while I was trying to get max rank and roses were unplayable because their weapon literally didn’t work, it stayed like that for a week no matter what I did and still because of that I only have 2 roses mastered

The homing upgrade just upgrades Rose’s homing, the problem is sometimes a bug makes homing not work, this also applies to super guided ball. Best way to fix this is to reset the game. Also you can tell if homing is working if your crosshair turns red while aiming at an enemy with rose or using guided ball.

Arcane Lotus is easily a top 3 Rux ability (probably only behind Vampweed and Mood Shield), honestly for me besides Nec Rose the whole class is unplayable without Lotus.

I would love to get arcane lotus, it heals you AND your teamates while you retreat from a charcter like superbrains that would most definitely kill you. People shit on rose for her homing which is far because its sucks. I use the frost rose and her charged attacks (which dont home) that do 50 damage after a second or 2 of charging. I basically play her like a more mobile future cactus with better abilites. She is one of my best classes and one of the handful of characters ive mastered

With the homing (don’t know if this happens on other consoles) sometimes on Xbox it just doesn’t register sometimes the best fix I have is just to aim in when a zombie is in homing range or restart your game

Yep, same for Guided Ultra Ball, his homing wasn't working there either except for 4:25 weirdly, you can tell when the crosshair doesn't go red.

I cant believe you think that Roses are the worst class. I absolutely love the Roses. I mastered all of them and I actually think they are just incredibly good. If you get in close fights its incredibly easy to hit your shots and if it gets too close you can just use an ability. On medium range they absolutely dominate. Their only weakness is long range, but the Roses that can charge their shots (except Nec' Rose) still deal 50 splash damage, so you can still easily hit them and deal some damage. Also idk what happened to your homing. I have never seen that bug before in over 700 hours of playing the game. Also Arcane Enigma is free 60 damage to the enemy, making a 1v1 almost impossible to lose
