@@HansPeter-iv9ck Thats only if you get everything graded as a psa 10, and he himself said that some cards are off centered which decreases the chances of getting that psa 10, also one card (i think it was a rare) got a little white on the bottom corner at the start of the video, so yeah if he gets lucky he is gonna make around 7k if someone buys everything, if he doesnt get lucky he is gonna be down couple grand...

@@lightman9935 I have seen plenty of people sending cards back in and then it returned as a 10. The PSA rating does say NOTHING. Hell PSA even grades misprints worse just because they are misprints but are in fact worth much more because of that misprint. So yeah send your cards in until you got that 9 or 10 it will happen sooner or later as long as the cards didnt run a military field exam.

Man I remember as a kid, every Sunday I would sell my cards at a flea market and use that money to buy these Blue Eyes packs. I still remember that day I packed Exodia. Crazy the pack series I bought so much of is now worth a ton of money. Take me back!

I ended up selling them like 10 years later as I don't play anymore but the memories are clear as day. I just discovered they reprinted LOB packs. Not sure if you know already knew this, some of the older packs would have a very subtle marking (eg, black/red dot in yugi's hair/face/cheek) to indicate it has a holo inside. This isn't always the case, but I personally did with holo packs from my magic ruler box. Try scanning over them to see if you could find any markings. Awesome vid btw!

Man, I remember the day I pulled both my lob-001 blue eyes in 2002. I was 8 years old and I have them still to this day along with a bunch of other cards in their own hard cases. I have 6 blue eyes in total. Waiting for yugioh prices to skyrocket like Pokémon did last year.

You could have opened the first 4 packs from either side, when you open the first holo, count 4 down two times, and the holos are mirrored on the other side. Secret rare was bottom left. I did thia on all my boxes until it was switched up. Great opening. I watched 1st edition LOB boxes being put on the shelves. ❤

My favorite pack pulling memory was when I won a sealed pack tournament at my local mall when I was 13. 1st prize was the gold binder collection with 6 promo cards and 1 of the 1st six packs in the series. The LOB pack had a Tri-Horned Dragon and the MRD pack had a Gate Guardian. Not 1st edition, unfortunately but I still have those in near mint to this day. I could not believe my ridiculous luck to pull 2 secrets in 6 packs.

I checked out the video the day it was posted, and I don't remember seeing the last part of the title. Maybe I didn't see it though, but that's good because I was surprised as well when you pulled the Red--Eyes on the last pack. That last pack had some magic. I felt for you because the pulls were not the greatest, but that last holo pull sure did make up for it. It would have kind of sucked to pull an Exodia limb for the last ultra, considering what else you already got. This was a Legendary opening, and I want to say thank you for allowing this video to happen.

I changed the title after the first day to make it easy to search. Actually the pulls were very very good. 3 of my supers (2 polys and flame swordsman) are in the top 3 supers in the set. Monster Reborn is a mid tier ultra and Red-Eyes is the second best card in the set. Not to mention I got a Pot of Greed and 3 Trial of Hells. Overall, this box was stacked. Thanks man, it was fun!

I just stumbled upon this video today so Im a bit late to reply, not sure how involved you were with Yugioh back in the early early days, but unfortunately this is how the boxes/packs were. It was a nightmare trying to pull anything higher than a rare back then, and even when you did it was still very rare to get something valuable to use/play with honestly. It wasn't until a few years ago that Konami increased the pull rate of foils in their packs, because getting only a rare-value card per pack was overwhelmingly disappointing. But it was really fun watching your box opening regardless! A lot of nostalgia!

Well I know back when I was in the game I ran a Exodia Chaos deck that at that eventually got destroyed by the ban list 40 cars deck of which at 1 point 25 cards were on the ban list. At one point I was trying to work to shift out the cards for 1st edition orginal set versions and I had replaced a lot of the cards Monster Reborn, Pot Of Greed, Painful Choice, a couple of the Limbs of Exodia, Chaos Emperor Dragon, Black Luster Soilder, Dark Magician of Chaous, Dimension Fusion, Monster Reincarnation. While every card was from the orginal set that they came from I hadn't gotten my hands on all of them 1st edition. I have since lost all my cards but even if I still had those cards they still wouldn't have much value as the cards were definitely well played with and would not have graded well at all.

Scaling is only scummy if you do scummy things with the light packs. Otherwise, there is no reason to open every pack of such a rare set. The Pokemon community literally scales every single box and sells the packs as light and heavy. Its actually a lot more transparent than guessing from every seller whether or not the packs have been scaled

Awesome vid man. Did u try clearing your scale/tare after each pack weighed? If I dont on my scale, it throws the packs off by a couple 10ths of a gram. Resetting everytime seems to help alot. Just a tip bro.

XoticTCG probably not most of them because usually people only sell the lights after they have pulled all of the foils. Possibly some that were purchased loose and then weighed

Those cards are from Yugioh era back then where Yugioh gameplay was enjoyable where there are no Extra Deck Monster with effect that can destroy almost all opponent monster, spell or trap card right after they are summoned, where Special Summon are not very frequent, where there are no summoning entire deck right in the first or second turn.

From my research, not all heavy packs mean Holographic cards, light weight packs can also mean Holographic cards, not to mention back then if you take a look at the side of the cards sometimes the holographic will have a darker tint than the regular white tint on the sides and yes it's a proven fact.

Back in the day my friend and I didn't do scaling we just took the top and bottom pack on both sides and the sixth and 10th pack as well and came out winning.
