Honestly the ‘scammiest’ part is that the packs are in a foreign language. Feels like it should be reasonable to assume you’re getting English packs unless explicitly stated otherwise on the packaging.

We all know they're bad, we all know never to buy them, why does Walmart keep selling these pieces of shit; putting it next to other legitimate product just makes these things seem legitimate, and they aren't. To clean that wall off all you need is a Damp Microfiber Cloth and if you find some stubborn residue use vinegar. Or dish soap w/warm water, but I would recommend an artist to draw you a Yu-gi-oh scene.

They are always a scam, because if they were not, they would have no reason to make them. It's a bunch of unwanted scrap potentially tacked on other sets you might want, but you pay for everything.

They should have made Cyber Harpie Lady's effect in the hand, field, graveyard and banished. Everywhere but the deck. Star Packs always had 3 cards in them. Battle Packs had shatter/starfoil rares and most sets had 5 cards, except one that had 16 per pack.

I know I have mentioned this before, the only redeeming quality the the power cubes is it lets you store your cards in, if I had a choice to pick this or retro pack, I’d rather choose retro pack. (I still can’t find these anywhere)

Congrats on the new place, i say use the chalk wall to your advantage. Use it for pack counts or drawings. We have a chalk wall for the kids and i think the best way (if it's not a solid piece/removable) is to just paint over it. As for the power cubes. What i say is that at least you get some sleeves and a case to hold some cards.

The best way to get chalk off of a chalk board would be dish soap and warm water. Also good luck in the giveaway everyone!

Try a magic eraser and dampen it with a little bit of warm water on the chalkboard. I've done this to remove stains and scuff marks from walls.

I feel like the Mystery Power Cubes from a few years back were quite a bit better. I got a Kaiba Reloaded deck and a 2017 LOB pack from one, ended up being worth more than the $20 I paid, which is rare for MJ Holdings.

The power cubes are definitely bad for valve so that just means retro pack wins instantly, however they could be good for parents to buy their kids as they don’t value cards so much. The ultimate swap frog would finish my max rarity Edison deck good luck everyone.

I got one of those chaos boxes recently and it was actually full of good packs. I got POTE, Photon Hypernova, and Invasion of Chaos and no 3 card packs. Also surprised you passed on the Light of Destruction boxes. Those are thin on the ground and the Ultis are money

I generally like the Mystery Power Cubes, since I collect for set completion and not value. It's nice to have some kind of randomness so I can add to my collection. I moved to Europe, though, and there aren't any Walmarts out here, so I'm Power Cube-less. Also, love the Frog archetype, so I super appreciate the Ulti Swap Frog. Played Frogs GX-era til Vrains.

isopropyl alcohol (90% or higher) should work to clean the chalk board. fumes might bother you while cleaning it though. can always wear a respirator if thats the case.

In my country there aren't really those Mystery cube...but also is very hard to see anything related card games on general in place like Walmart or Target. But I wouldn't really risk to buy, I usually have awful luck opening regular official packs and boxes.. The surprise Cyber harpie lady was really nice ;)

There was a similar type of cube around 7-8 years ago at Target that came with a structure deck and 2-3 actual core set packs for like $15. They were a great deal and they were packed in a way where you could see what deck you were getting so you could guarantee getting good decks

I will be that guy and say if you're just into or starting to get into booster pack collecting, the chaos boxes in particular can actually be pretty helpful since (and I am speak anecdotally here) you have a semi-decent chance of pulling a pack from an older set that your local card shop might have stopped selling a while back. I bought one the other day and I ended up getting Darkwing Blast which I haven't seen for almost 2 years out in the wild, and another one I got a few months back had the Legendary Duelists Yugi pack which is 5 years old at this point. Obvious it being a mystery box, you get what you pay for but for $18-20 when 6 packs of the latest set will run you $25+, there are far worse ways to burn the money in your pockets.

It's a scam specifically for the foreign packs. The random cards are 50/50 if it's a scam, but that depends on what they pack with them with it usually seems they're packed with whatever they can pull from other bargain bins. Worst part to me besides the foreign packs is they advertise on the back you can get something good like a Dark Magician which almost certainly is not the case. It's like those other Walmart blind boxes that advertise LOB on there or the 25th anniversary set, but it's never that (which I've seen at least 1 pack out of the 6 is also a foreign pack).

I still don't understand why the sleeve packs are 50 count when you can run a 60 card Deck. Heck, you can't make a 40 card Deck with 15 Extra Deck if you use the same sleeves for each. Although I've heard that Konami sleeves are prone to not being good quality after a decent amount of shuffling so I just use them for Extra Decks. Also, Retro Pack always hits. One of my friends must've bought one recently because last week the guy who's always going through cards handed me some Retro Pack cards which was really cool. Got another Harpie Lady as well as the Mystic Tomato's and a Dekoichi for my GOAT Deck.
