Card for card, this booster set had some of the best cards ever printed. IFL and Jinzo alone gave us the mighty Control deck, which saw HUGE tournament play, all the way up to The World Championship, until the Chaos Deck came around a year or so later, and blew it all up.

I remember these from back in the day! Never ended up getting these repacks, but I'd sometimes get the clear box repacks from target for 9.99, great deal back in the day!

The thing I've actually never seen before is Narrow Pass. It's great to still find cards for the first time.

As an OG collector since the original sets, I can tell you with certainty that the coloring was always that light, on the first and unlimited editions, in those first dozen boosters or so. Konami just darkened the backgrounds over time. It would appear that this trend carried over to the reprints. You collect both new and vintage versions, which is why you noticed it. It's not fading. Not in a sealed pack. That would be super sus, and a sure sign of the cards being counterfeits.

Hey Ruxin, thanks for the opening today. I think the hunt for specific cards are a great series archetype but they may require consistency and building up of the hype. (I think that is what made the magia search so iconic, along with the price of the card)
