I have watched this series so many times, and this scene always breaks my heart for Li Yu. The entire movie from every single member in the cast, beautiful music, costumes, scenery, camera shots to angle and lighting, scripts, and direction I have always believed to be excellent and classy. The whole production is well above American Oscar level, and if there was an international award, I believe "Ruyi's royal love in the palace" would win it, hands down ❤❤❤❤
