Halil treats Zeynep like an object and keeps invading her physical space, physically hurting her to impose himself and control her, to the point of putting her in danger at times. Whatever the reasons, he is not a decent partner. The narrative tries to make him shine from time to time to prove his humanness but that doesn't make him noble. He is not subtle at all and pretty immature emotionally : a wounded little boy who doesn't question his story to find deeper truths which makes him point fingers to make others responsible for his pain. Once he finally gets in touch with his senses and depths he appears quite pathetic and not very real (let's hope this will change). His revenge plots and humiliation tactics to keep her close are tiring in the long run. He's not expressing true love but infatuation from physical attraction. He is no curious about the profound nature of Zeynep, he only see through her. On top of this Zeynep should not become his revelation or the shoulder to cry on, a means to make him 'a man'. She deserves to get back to what she had before : the strong independent woman she already was so she can focus on what makes her happy and alive. She doesn't need him for that. How long does this sterile game will go on for ?

Halil is clearly struggling between feelings of love and revenge. Zeynep can sense his love but cannot understand why he masks it with hatred. Orhan is not a villain but he is trying to rescue someone who does not want to be rescued. She is in love too. Maybe she 'needs' rescuing but she does not 'want' it at this point.
