Very nice video! Great job! Food looked good! The tigers were cute and the one hit up and walked around the fell down to lay down and or fell down for the count. Funny seeing Amber milking the cow. You hardly see anybody doing that. Hope you both had on that adventure. I can’t wait til next time. See you soon! Travel safe and stay safe!

The community is wonderful! People hate on their way of living and discipline, but the families in that community have such grace and love.

They were all extremely nice people with some amazing skills for producing goods. Everyone seemed happy and content with their lifestyle and choices. We also heard from many others about the negative stuff that goes on behind the public’s view. So it’s up to the individual to come to their own conclusion. We would recommend people visiting though for some good food and awesome products they have for sale.

It's a cult. I know several people there, and they're brainwashed!
@jonathanharrison81583 жыл бұрын
I was raised in this church. It is a cult. Their teachings are deeply problematic. The "theology" of the church is that the leaders of the church are to be followed and believed, and if you do not, you rebelling against God. If you leave, you will be excommunicated. They use a lot of brainwashing techniques. The teachings are misogynistic, sexist, totalitarian, and extremist. I have seen the church leaders scream at small children for not displaying appropriate levels of prayer during worship sessions. They teach parents to physically punish children. I have seen very disturbing things that I will not relay on a public forum. They have had a repeated child sexual abuse problem. Multiple members have gone to jail for this. Blair Adams is completely unquestioned in this church. A lot of lives have been deeply harmed by this group. Members are coached carefully on how to interact with anyone not in the church. Blair Adams is a skilled sophist. He speaks in aphorisms, metaphors, riddles and just plain nonsense. You will never understand what the actual church beliefs are, because they change in accordance with what God tells him, and what God tells him fits what he needs at a particular time. I am not religious, but I respect individuals of all beliefs and backgrounds. However, the children that a born into this church never truly have a choice in the matter. The deliberate use of guilt, shame, social dynamics, fear and so on, to control people by church leadership is very troubling.

@@jonathanharrison8158 I have (had, really) friends from Prince of Peace Church who wanted to escape this world, so they joined Homestead Heritage/Brazos a Dios, I guess it was. I loved them, but when I'd see them they'd be polite and would converse, but it was like nobody was home. After a few times I gave up. There's no way they were going to reach out to me on their own. I don't do relationships like that, and they clearly had no interest in me.

@@jonathanharrison8158 I forgot something. Hard to believe, but but Butch lied to me! He said the women did their hair that way because the women got together and decided that's what they wanted to do. Nope!

Awesome video! Always enjoy seeing what y’all get up to. And I can’t help but agree with Cathy that it was great seeing our 3 legged grandson running free and having the time of his life. #adaptiveK9 The food looked amazing! How were the cupcakes 🧁 at Chip & Joanna’s bakery? Seems like the craftsmanship I caught a glimpse of was awesome at the Homestead. Stay safe! Stay warm! And keep having fun! ♥️

The cupcakes were surprisingly delicious! And we are harsh critics when it comes to the foods! I agree, that was probably the best day of Skips life!! ☺️ I think you would have really enjoyed the Homestead! Love you!

This video is...Yummy! That crawfish filled steak...Legit! WOW...that sandwich...where’s the beef..it’s Texas :-) Don’t surrender the RV or Skippy! He’s fast...Great seeing Skippy having fun.

The steak was amazing!!! I was surprised but wow. The RV and Skippy stay, at least for now.🤣 he is quick for having three legs, he was so happy on the farm. When I was editing this video and he heard the cows he would start whining and spinning in circles.🤣🤣

I went to college in Tyler. I designed the stained glass window on the tower at TJC then got my bachelors at UT. I still hunger for the quesadillas at El Taqueria del Lugar!

Really cool video ! Surprised you both weren’t wearing cowboy boots and hat. lol.. Amber, I know you really wanted to rub that Tigers belly, just pretend Matt’s the Tiger and rub his belly instead, but then again he might bite too ! 😅... Call it what you want but I’d call Heritage Homestead a cult and why do always put out this videos right before I’m ready to eat.. Damn that food looked good 👍

Thanks, we actually edited this one ourselves. Hope it was just as good as our others. I could not find a hat that looked right on. But we are still in Texas for about another months so don’t count me out yet🤣
