Why does camping world rip people off

Cash is king! Can you please explain to me why you would prefer to have financing on the RVs versus taking cash? I walked into Camping World with cash in my hand to purchase an RV. I was made to sit in a room with a man for over an hour while he told me why I should not use cash for my purchase. That was one of many red flags during my purchase that I should have hightailed it out of there but unfortunately I didn't. So I'm honestly asking you why do you try to force people into financing? 🤔

@@matthewculver9667 My guess is they get huge kickbacks from the lenders or they have a stake in or own the lending company. I sat in an office with a joker named Joe who was half my age. He tried to convince me that I should finance at least half of my purchase if I didn't want to finance the whole thing. There were so many red flags when I made my purchase from Camping World & this was one of many. Cash is King in my domain, but based on my experience at Camping World they don't want your cash for some reason. 🤔

OMG! So many things that were said and other that were not mentioned that could negatively affect the unsuspecting or undedicated buyer - do your homework people before buying and financing an RV.

Hey! If i were to buy a towable trailer, do you deliver to a location at all or do i have to tow it off the lot myself after buying? My car can only tow 1k lbs but i'm looking to buy a trailer as alternate housing while I relocate states~ Thanks in advace for the advice!

I was ridiculed at Camping World for purchasing my trailer before I purchased a tow vehicle. They did offer delivery but it was insanely expensive. I had a cousin pick mine up for me. ✌

Can one get out of purchase agreement before taking possession of RV?

Possibly? That's a tough question and there are many variables. While it's not unheard of for people to get cold feet after a large purchase of any kind, I recommend taking it to your lawyer to review if you're serious about getting out of any purchase agreement, not just for an RV, but for any large purchase. -Ian Baker

Ian Baker here and that’s a great question. It honestly depends state to state and the particular lending services available. It’s certainly possible you may have to wait until the following day for a credit approval. -Ian Baker

Thank you! Here is my experience as I just got my new toy hauler 2022 Vengeance 25V from Camping World of Alvarado Texas. I went in last Sunday to see in person the unit applied for credit there and they got me approved from Bank of America in Florida, the next day Monday I took delivery of my new toy hauler! I am very happy and satisfied with the purchase experience at camping world of Alvarado TX.

What if you have a bankruptcy will they say no or can you still get a travel trailer camper

Hey Travis, Ian Baker here. A recent bankruptcy can be tough for sure, however there we do work with some lenders that would review your application. My recommendation is to stop into your local Camping World and have an honest chat with a Finance Specialist so they can give you some options before making any decisions on hard credit pulls as you try to rebuild credit. -Ian Baker

Can someone with 800 score but only 6 years of credit history get approved for 100k loan? 25 yr old needs to know 😉

Minimum score for a 100k loan is 722 so you are definitely in the range. You shouldn't have any issues if you have a good income a strong work history. Congrats on reaching an 800 at only 25!
