Good idea I almost bought a vinyl magnetic sheet but didn’t think it would hold those souvenir magnets thinking about doing this and painting the steel black to match the other appliances in my rig

Have you had any issues with the metal falling down or the plastic clip sagging down off the track?

It has stayed solidly in place for me. No shifting or sagging.

I thought he was going to install the Metal sheets under the wooden front. That way the magnets stick through the wooden facard. With that in mind any other type of metal should work, so long as the stick on magnets are strong enough. Tin foil?

It was very scary to watch you slide the metal sheets in and cut without the gloves....then I noticed your cut in the hand...man! its tension filled to watch someone do something scary like that ..Thanks for the video though

Oh yea, did the same thing . only using the heaver Galvanised flat panels from Home depot.. More expensive of course.. Just could not get the manufacturing imperfections out of it.. Polishing, waxing etc. and apparently NONE of the fridge companies make metal panels.. for the fridges.. Then. My only recourse is to go out and have the panel professionally painted.. Not cost effective.. I have been looking at a vinyl adhesive magnetic panel that you can buy or get made. No real luck yet... (And I work at a RV center) and can't cure this problem with my own RV.. So here I am scouring You Tube looking for solutions.. I already have the panel I paid for and cut..(and sliced my finger installing it), so as he says. be careful.. I have a Dometic 3 way with the black acrylic panels.. and the galvanised steel does fit w/ the acrylic panel.. However. if you put the steel panel behind the acrylic one.. nope. the magnets will not stick.. Have to have real metal.. There is the possibility of a magnetic stick on vinyl of a multitude of colors shapes, designs, and they say your own design / photos.. But expensive... Still working on it.. Ya'll let me know if someone finds a solution.. thx..

Well. I just gave away a washer and Dryer with 2 pop off steel fronts..... Dummy.. Now I know where I am getting my steel panels from now on ... and I have an electric nibbler.. Problem solved.. Now should I walk in the washer dryer seller repair center with the nibbler extended or not?? lol... hmm and typically this is a white or silver question.. Unless you live in a big city w/ color options... I knew there was an answer to this question... and it was not aluminum, acrylic, decals or stickers.. It takes good metal to hold a fridge magnet going down the road in a RV.. just sayin...
