I grew up in Abilene. As teenagers we would park on a dirt road by the flight line and watch C-130’s do touch and go’s. If we were lucky, we got to see a B-52 or B-1 take off or land.

My first primary assignment was Dyess AFB TX after Basic and Tech. School. I arrived in June 1982 and stayed until Aug 1984. I did not see much of downtown except for the night clubs. As a single guy living in the barracks, it was great!!! Young frisky women everywhere!

We called those cheap military flights "Space A or Hop". Didn't know they were called "MAC" flights. Husband and I learned something new today. I hope you both enjoy Dyess! 😁
@veedubya46363 жыл бұрын
Yes back in the day (80s on back) they were MAC flights. MAC was Military Airlift Command, it was replaced with Air Mobility Command in the 90s if I remember correctly. I enjoyed taking hops when I was in.

The best thing about this unit is that you can hook up external batteries and solar to this unit. Its extremely easy plug in play. Especially if you plan on boondocking many other features please look into it. Much love God bless you and your family! Alaska prepper has a entire review. I have recently purchased this product.
