Favorite part... The amazing scenery. Second favorite part... The L❤️VE in the eyes of your pooch as you shared a moment. Thank you for taking me on this journey. I'm a full-time RVer.. I now have an addition to bucket list. 😎😍🙂

❤️🙌 it was a beautiful area! We didn’t come in from west but I read that way can be pretty winding and steep, so you just might want to check the road conditions 👍👍 safe and happy travels!

I’m so glad you captured our valley when you did. Unfortunately much has changed in the last 3 years. The auxiliary dam was changed quite a bit when they rebuilt the dam and miracle hot springs was demolished and closed down . Too much crime there I heard. Anyway things have changed but it was good but sad to see it as it was so I thank you. You made me think also .I have lived in this valley since 1968 but never bothered to record it like you did . And now that it has changed so much I regret that and I promise myself that I will do so in the future. Thanks from a isabella native :))❤

Love those hotsprings! If you ever go back there's usually a bucket there, that's NOT FOR TRASH, it's for washing your feet off before entering. There's still an elderly couple that comes by and cleans each one of the pools out and they could use all the help they can get. There's a lot of history and fighting people had to do to keep those hot springs from being demolished. So please, if anyone plans to enjoy these hotsprings just remember to be kind and courteous. AND NO GLASS, if the rangers find you down there with glass they will fine you, also nobody wants glass in their foot.

I don't think we noticed a bucket but we'll definitely look for it next time. Thanks for all the info. We definitely agree with protecting and respecting our public lands so we can all enjoy these gems for years to come 💙

We keep talking about exploring Lake Isabella and now we know we really want to go! Loved the lakeside camping and the décor of the hot springs! Someone went to a lot of work to make and decorate them :) Awww pup getting love...

Glad to help inspire your decision to go! I guess the locals say spring is one of the best times to visit with all the wildflowers and green hillsides. And I heard from another traveler that the lowest hot spring (of the three pools) got flooded by the river and was much cooler just a week after we were there! You can camp right at the trailhead for the hot springs, but there's no cell service there. Happy travels!

Lovely. Glad you found the hot springs....had to giggle seeing Maggie relaxing in the spring with her knit hat on 😊 Love Brad's haircut. Enjoyed seeing the 'indoor' succulent garden. 🌱 Rainbows always make me smile 🌈 Safe travels!

Thanks Christine -- the rainbow was such a fun surprise and stuck around for a good while! Lol, I thought it was funny to have the hat too but the early morning was definitely brisk, we warmed up quickly in the hot water though! Cheers!

My Wednesday lunches are usually spent with you. Ha! I really look forward to it. I love the start of this video in particular. One of the reasons I enjoy following you is because of your sincere appreciation for nature, camp hosts, rangers, the CCC, and anyone else that makes places like these accessible. Also, not everyone is able to live like you do, but you get that and your gratitude shines through. Thanks, as always, for taking us along for the ride.

I think the people parked next to you at 8:38 had more to worry about... That water rise much further, and they'll have to put their truck in the water to hook up the trailer !!

That's great. The locals say spring is one of the best times to visit because of the wildflowers and green hills. It was pretty windy during our stay but it's a place known for windsurfing so I'm guessing it's often that way!

Spring is a great time to visit with all the wildflowers. Hope you'll get a chance to visit -- it's a bit off the beaten path (steep and windy in both directions) but in our view, well worth it!

We love it there we go on long weekends we have the year pass downside is it can get super super windy gets annoying. Other than that we have never had a bad time . We had planned to go on the 4th and stay for the weekend but my youngest is 2 he woke up sick and we decided to cancel and next thing you know earthquakes wow can't imagine driving up there and having to come back home we got lucky but it's sad we stuck at home now 😫 . Great video I will sub

Crazy timing, we're definitely thinking of everyone in that area with these recent earthquakes! The wind can definitely be uncomfortable at times but it such a beautiful place ☺️ welcome to our channel!

Hey guys, love the videos. We enjoy your content. We camped in this exact spot December 2018. We haven't started making KZbin videos yet but have been on the road over a year. @contemporarynomads I also work remotely, looks like Brad does also.

Do you remember if it was windy in the winter? It was so crazy windy during our spring stay, but such a pretty spot. Cheers to working remotely, it's definitely the way to go 😀🙌

@@WanderlandTravelers yes, it was windy then also! Our favorite area for winter camping has been on Lake Mead; Kingsman Wash and Stewarts Point. And Boulder Beach Campground for water and dump.
