I've been told that the "Palace", formally known as Mike's Palace, is the oldest continuously operating liquor license west of the Mississippi. The bar area is all original as well as the huge ice cooler, visible in your video as you enter through the swinging doors. The prostitutes used to hang out on the upper balcony waiting for customers.

it's a very historical place for sure. We were also told the local police held the mannequin, at the top of the stairs, at gun point for a few minutes, when the alarm went off and they went in to investigate. I guess she wouldn't follow their directions....imagine that. :)

Hey Paul did you finish all the work in your house and if so has any one looked at yet ? Do you have a tire pressure monitoring system on your RV and your toad vehicle ?

Watch yourself traveling in Mexico in an RV . Do have any protection in case ?

+Bob Shaw House is 99% but we didn't get it listed before leaving. We will be adding the TPMS soon! TPMS doesn't show any damage so I'll probably always do a tire check out of habit.

I didn't see this comment earlier Bob. We parked our coach at my daughter and son- in-law's auto shop in El Paso for a few days. I think there are parts of Mexico you can take an RV...I don't think Juarez is one you should! Paul

Welcome back! It's so nice to see you and I was looking forward to your update until the 10:00 mark when I realised the update is still in the future. Hopefully, your countdown to Fulltime living went ok

Prescott is a great little town. I wish I could say that was our view in the morning Mike, but it was just a brief stop. There is camping at Watson Lake, but unfortunately not overlooking the granite dells. Safe travels! Paul

What a coincidence. I had a huge portion of brisket for dinner. The cow was a vegetarian.

I recognized the cicadas immediately. Sounds like my backyard here in Missouri. They are thick this year.
