Never knew there was a museum in Elkhart. Very cool! Went to the Indiana Dunes once. Lake Michigan is a wonderful RV camping. As you go up the state, the terrain becomes higher. Flat beach at Grand Haven.and a stop at Temptations ice cream to the very high Beautiful Sleeping Bear Dunes.

I stayed at Indiana Dunes State Park campground this past June. It's crowded and you'll need advance reservations for the summer, but it's worth it. Very pretty campground with an awesome walk through the woods to the beach (where you filmed). Funny story, though. It's where my transmission went out and we had to get a very large tow truck and a police escort to help me out of the park (very tight turns on the campground roads, but the tow truck driver did a fantastic job getting my 35 foot Fleetwood Bounder out of the park and to the repair shop). I do recommend this campground next time you visit the area. And do the 3-Dune challenge if you go, it's a real challenge but the views are well worth it and you get a patch and t-shirt if you finish it (for a discount price, of course). I think you'll also enjoy the Michigan side of Lake Michigan better with it's quaint towns and awesome beaches. I stayed at a couple Michigan state park campgrounds on my trip. I'm in LOVE with Holland, MI (great ice cream!). I hope to get to Chicago someday to start the great Route 66 trip I've been planning for years (just gotta find time to do it).

Funny thing? My grandparents started with a Winnebago, went to a Pace Arrow in the late-'70's. My uncle ordered & p/u a Travco 320 in '76 from Lynnwood Dodge in Washington and took it to Alaska. It was brought back down in the early-2000's and re-vamped. Now I own it

I grew up camping in a Shasta very similar to the 1950s one you saw --3 kids and two parents. Tight and no bathroom. That's what the campground bathhouse was for. 😊 And we had a small porta potty for nighttime emergencies.

Wonderful job as always..You always have such nice music on you videos. How much of the music are different tracks you lay down on a synthesizer. I'm guessing part of the RV song has a few moments 're live vocalists (as opposed to dead ones I guess). Thanks for taking us along on your trip. You sure pack a lot into each day. You are heading in too my :home state. And even though Chicagoans think they comprise the only important part of Illinois (hence no,welcome to Illinois sign), there is a great big wonderful state outside Cook County.
@TravelingRobert8 жыл бұрын
+JillB PrayerFul I found it very odd about the lack of Illinois sign. 90 percent of the music is synth. I do record a live guitar, the only other instrument I play, when it is appropriate and for the New Orleans music I hired my good friend Chuchi for trumpets🎺 and trombones... And yeah the vocals are live too 😃
