Thank you for your videos. I’m using them to show my daughter that she can do anything…including helping dad fix up our old camper.

Oh goodness, I really needed this. The rest of these videos are for men talking men lingo lol I am so lost and overwhelmed, I bought a mess and am going to fix it up while living in it. I am about to buy a mini circular saw to cut my wood with and I am lost again don't know which one to buy. DO you have any idea I can't afford a lot of money?

Hey same girl. My used camper smells like wet socks. Ripping up carpet and praying for a miracle. Any hardware store should be able to give you suggestions on tools and pricing
@dantemino86092 жыл бұрын
@Linda Berry not sure if I'm too late on this or not but for this kind of stuff, you can use ryobi tools (saws) they're readily available at home depot, very well priced and they hold up really well. Hope this helps.

Why did you add the new wood in between and screw them together? My floor seems weak and the wood pieces move a lot and there is more foam than support in the area I am trying to fix and trying to figure out how to do it. thanks in advance!

Excellent video, getting ready to do this as we speak on my new camper to me that didn't need any work LOL. If you have any roof repair videos I'll watch them too

This video is really old and the audio kind of sucks. Check out the demo series, lots of good content and repair there!

Love your videos…but have a question. I have my first camper with severe water damage at the wall/floor junction. In your video, you only had damage to the wall. Any videos or instructions for how to repair the joist and all the layers under? Having a hard time finding what exactly is supposed to be under the subfloor! Metal? Membrane? Insulation? In what order?!

I have another video called ‘6 steps to repair water damage’ which goes through walls, floors, ceiling and roof repair! It a bit lengthy but worth it!

Oh no! I have a better video (repairing water damage in 6 east steps) that’s WAY better than this one. Give it a watch and hopefully it’ll boost your confidence a bit! Always feel free to email or message on IG with questions/pictures, I’m happy to help!

How did you remove the cabinets?
@fallenintocamping2 жыл бұрын
Hey! Every camper is different, but mostly it’s a structural frame with a decorative face frame stapled to the front. You take the whole front off, and then the 1/8 inch paneling on the inside of the cabinets, and there will be screws to the wall and ceiling. If you need help, send me some pictures on Instagram or to my email (hrfallen0616@gmail.com) and I’ll help you out!

Never osb thats probably why your fixing it.Treated plywood
@fallenintocamping2 жыл бұрын
It was actually plywood that rotted, and I replaced it with OSB. Honestly, the material doesn’t matter as long as your camper doesn’t leak.
@danieldorchester52216 ай бұрын
@@gabrielutasiI agree, use plywood when you can, it is more structurally stable with heat and humidity. It will rot at about the same rate as OSB with a leak. If I do a full floor then use marine plywood, glue and screw.

Sorry. This is an old video. I’d like to think I have gotten better since then, but it’s still a struggle. Public speaking wasn’t something I was taught, so I’m learning it as an adult. My kids are homeschooled, and this is one area where I’m making sure they are prepared and educated for when they grow up.
