RV Travel Trailer Slide Tip-out Not Working? Try This First!
I had a problem with an RV fifth wheel room slide out not extending and making a clicking noise so i investigated and found out there was a dead spot in the slide out gear motor. So here is my fix if this happens to you with your RV travel trailer, fifth wheel or motorhome slide.

I wish I saw your video, before I let someone work on my slide. He’s going to try to charge me $1000 for parts and labor. Mama raised no Dummy . I’m going to try that before I order my stuff off of Amazon and put it on myself. Thank you again. Because when I push the button, it sounded just like yours ticking and not latching on. spray some blaster on or spray some transmission fliud on the parts, it will free up the rusty parts then spray some silicone on . maybe you can also install a rubber cover to cover that mechinism from being beaten from the elements, snow , rain whathave you, salt from the road is a big one.
