+cottersay I remember the first time that Ducie Island became activated (a brand new DXCC entity)... On CW operations, the split ranged from 70-100 kHz!!! It was INSANE. I ended up working them on their 2nd trip out there.

Mmmm....ever been to Bassas da India, in the Mozambique channel ? Went past it in 1968 on my way to Europa. G5FM (sadly, unlicensed in 1968)
