Parachutes aren't required for solo aerobatics in the US. They are required for non-training flights carrying persons OTHER THAN CREWMEMBERS.

i'd still want one though, these things are hand built and if you arent the original owner who knows what the craftsmanship level really is. You really want to put 4 G's on the wings just to find out the builder got lazy one summer evening and skipped a few rivets?

In brazil most of these vans are built by a local well-respected aircraft manufacturer (flyer), as legilsation allows for experimental airplanes to be 100% professionally-built
